Every Gift Provides More Than Financial Assistance

A donation to FPWH may help keep a family’s electricity connected, prevent an eviction, cover a security deposit, or provide a safe place to stay. But the impact reaches far beyond one bill or one night of shelter.

Your support can give a parent the breathing room needed to focus on finding employment, arranging childcare, securing reliable transportation, or creating a workable household budget. It can give children a safe and stable environment while their family works toward permanent housing.

Support Designed for Each Family

Every family’s situation is different. That is why FPWH offers individualized case management and works with each household to identify the barriers standing between them and stable housing.

Our programs include homelessness prevention, rent and utility assistance, security and utility deposit assistance, financial coaching, employment and resource referrals, and connections to community partners. FPWH also operates three shelter homes and one transitional house, providing safe accommodations for families with children as well as homeless men and women.

Donations allow us to respond to immediate needs while helping families develop practical plans for greater long-term stability.
